21 ft. 1987 Galaxy. My family got this for free back in 97? when the doctor who owned it thought the motor was blown up. After further inspection motor was fine, dad called up the guy and let him know and he told us to keep it. Boat has been sitting majority of the time since 2005 when the oil pan was replaced. Last summer we had our fiberglass buddies throw a new floor in it and we haven't touched it since and hasn't been ran since 2011. Went over today to bring it home but the tires were flatter than a pancake and I didn't have a compressor with me. So sometime this week I will begin work to get this ready for summer!
Here's how it sits (don't mind the redneck couch )
Welp to make a long story short......We have this golf cart, said golf cart kept getting hung up on rocks and whatever else you may find while lollygagging around the woods. Not to mention the damage it sustained from a crash. So the build began.... Once the body was off the golf cart it was discovered that half of the frame rail was rusted out as well as the floor frame and body brackets being completely MIA. Shit got real.
Here's the frame
Time for a little choppin and burnin
Frame rail patch Starting the new floor frame Floor frame almost complete test fitting front body
Next up some home brew wheel wells/mud flaps
FAB WORK DONE! Time for some goodies
HD rear springs for the rear
Gotta have the brush guard for all that serious offroading this thing will be doing
Good ol' stop sign floor board
Been loads of fun and only been wrecked twice since the rebuild was completed :thumb:
