NPT -

I am a little confused, this looks exactly like my unit, shouldn't the wiring match up and the antenna?

QUOTE
Retro-

From the outside, it does look like it...But squarebodies still used the old style 12 pin connectors. You'll see when it's removed.

The antenna plug is larger on the Sub than on the radio, again, GM changed it in the 90s.

NPT - I don't even know how to remove it, I never did one of this style truck before. Anything I should know before I dive into it?

QUOTE
Retro -

It's easy. Remove the bezel, there's 2 screws holding the radio in from the front, and one long bracket on the back that's bolted to the bottom of the dash. Put the brackets on the new radio and it's ready to install.

NPT -

Ok, so I need an antenna adapter, can you dig me up some info or a link so I know what I am looking for? Is there an adapter for the harness plugs or do I have to do a hack job?

I'm sure almost any place that sells radio adapter kits will have what you need. You need the 12 pin connector adapter. But you could hack it if you feel confident enough.

That's the opposite of what you need. You are putting a 21 pin radio in where a 12 pin used to be.
