Well today headed to another fishing hole.. Running wide open.. Motor was trimmied to the max.. Big rooster tail blowing and all... And then out of now where the motor trimmed all the way down. I stopped and shit the boat off adn the trim was still running trying to trim down but it was bottomed out... Had to disconnect battery.
I unhooked All the trim switches and the sumbitch was still trying to trim down... I finally gound a relay.. And unhooked it... Had to effin cruise to a beach because my boat sucks balls without the motor trimmed... Got there.. trying to jumper out the relay, and my dumbass touched the jumper to a ground when i shoudln't have.. Popped a fuse... Finally found a fuse.. Put it all back together and it works fine now...
WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ..... I went back to the dock and said f it... I rewired the whole effing trim chit when i got home tonight .. But never could find a answer to why it did this... Ima order those new relays when payday rolles around... I can get two of them for around 30 bucks.... Just broke as chit intill wednesday
Yes it is lol... Its how i always roll.. This year is catching me
Well you remember my issues with this tilt shit, but mine wanted to go up and only did it sitting in the back yard once in a great while, never did it on the water. But it really pisses you off to walk out on the morning and seeing it running up and not knowing how long it was doing it over night. Sitting there in the yard it wouldn't be a relay in my case because a relay doesn't kick on without a signal. So it had to be a switch or short, and I think I narrowed it down to the motor switch which I replaced not too long ago.
I still am iffy about the throttle mounted switch, and I throw a plastic bag over it every time they call for rain, just as insurance for my brain. It's kind of tilted up and I am sure water sits in there. I'd like to replace that also and the short section of harness that runs through the handle, I had to patch those wires already. Or maybe even remove it from the throttle completely and mount it on the dash with a nice weatherproof toggle switch.
Sitting on the side of the phucking road.. Some bitch ran me offf the road .. And instead of her hitting me i swerved and she missed me.. But the boat got a phucking telephone pole .. Luckily it just clipped the rim... Waiting on my buddy to drop off a spare tire for me. I'ma throw a 2x4 through that cunts window if she drives by I thought my boat was done for
