BK got me motivated to pic whore a boat ride, so here it is.

These are from the digital camera, and the second post will be iPod pics.

First pic is a piece of firewood that was free floating down the river just under the surface that I whacked.

That is a new tube we just bought 2 weeks ago, the other one finally died. Got 2 years out of the other one, but I stored it in the garage in the winter and I think the cold weakened the seams in the tube. So I will have to store this one inside the house over the winter.

My daughter filled up an empty spring water bottle and you couldn't see the difference, it was very clear. There is an amazing amount of creek/river chubs in the water this year. Very promising. And there were crayfish on the feed in the clam beds. And driving the boat and looking behind it you can see the exhaust rolling out of the center of the prop. Very cool, we had a great weekend. smile.gif

I planned on heading up to VF to look for my lost anchor but never made it up to there. I am also hearing about a nice presence of black crappies being caught in a certain area here, that is terrific news, I haven't seen them around for a long time. smile.gif

Also the surface activity is very robust here right now with the fish.

Nice report! Could use a few more pic's though , maybe next trip. I'm not gonna bust ur balls but the 4th pic is the stump not the first. Surprised the rest of these ball busters didn't say something. I told CC not to be setting them creek chubs free.

Yah, I was waiting for that. I got pissed off that postimage uploaded my photos out of order so I lost my enthusiasm and said phukit. rolleyes.gif

That log was half way up from the ramp, felt it thump off the hull then the motor. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/cry.gif

I hit a few things yesterday out there that you couldn't see. All the boats running around had it stirred up along the banks.

Yah, it's sitting in the rubber mounts factory from Tracker. They used to be under the flip up passenger seat. I unscrewed them and mounted them on the back deck. You likey?? smile.gif
