Phil mounted it today but this is the only place he could put it that made it high enough so it doesn't scrape the ground. Do you think it will be an issue?

Should be ok, I mean it is in the way if for climbing out of the bow, or it may even help. Only thing I can say is watch it turning real hard right.

It won't fit right here under the bow?

Fits there nicely...that was the first spot I mounted it. Stepped back and seen it looks pretty low to the ground. When coming out of our driveway it looks like your pretty close to scraping the ground. So I figured I might end up ripping it off. So thats the next best location.

Yes!! Excellent point!! http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/yes.gif

I forgot all about that. That's how I had it on the old NPT boat. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/High205.gif

Just a square u-bolt that matched the frame and bolt pattern of the wheel:

our trailer is too low to the ground and it just about hits coming out of the driveway. I'll get a pic to show you how low it actually is.

You can lay it flat like Todd suggested right under the front middle of the bow on the frame. I really can't believe that mount won't work at the rear arrow, it should be high enough.
