Back in the summer I replaced the carb on Troy Built generator.

This what happens when leave your lawn equipment outside in weather. Instead of trying clean it I replaced because I thought is lost cause in cleaning. I got new carb for it at $50.

As you see water starting to embed itself in the pot aluminum metal on this carb.

Here's is the bowl of that came off the carb. That black stuff is where someone used a piece electrical tape as a bowl gasket.

Unfortunely all the plugs on the generator still work from sitting outside covered up in a plastic trash bag. This is something I wont do is keep a generator outside in weather.

There's chance could have been if had right small wire brushes but when your charging someone $40 hour labor all that time can add up to be not worth it. Thats what it looked like after soaking it for for a day in that Berryman chemical dip 1 gallon bucket that comes with a basket.

I supply all the shop supplies needed such as carb cleaner, gasket remover spray, etc. All goes in the $40 hour labor.
