I put the 89 Taurus SHO back on craigslist with an asking price of 2k if I got that much it would be a profit of 800$. 2 calls in the last day. I really don't want to sell but that would be about enough to either finish my ranger turbo truck or buy me an older f150 4x4 that I think would make me more money. I also know the SHO is a money pit. Any thoughts/advice

I'm not much of a Ford buff so I really can't be helpful on this. Very interested in that turbo Ranger project though. http://northporttroller.b1.jcink.com/biggrin.gif

sho was definitely a fast car when you got the right mods for it, but it is a bit older. i would sell it.

only problem is I cant afford a new fast car and the potential of a gutted 220 hp sho is pretty good and with my ranger project I might be able to pull 200hp and keep it reliable... fixed up with all things considered the sho would be a few THOUSAND cheaper than a Stock WRX with the WRX only have a 5hp advantage in power
Let me break it down this way
The Total price of all 3 of my vehicles is under 2700 bucks
89 Taurus sho 900 (runs but not a DD)
92 Ranger 2.3 500 (DD)
00 Cavalier 1200 (DD)
Thats current here is All Time
87 Ford Ranger (first vehicle) 400
86 Toyota Tercel Wagon 4wd 1000 (rusted out and junked)
92 Acura Integra 400 (never got running and sold for 500)
If I had disposable income that would be one thing... Not only that My last attempt at an insurance quote for full coverage was above 350 a month mix that with a car payment and your talking half my mortgage so no car payment for me.

I would honestly rather rebuild something from the past that is barely competent by todays standards and beat the hell out of it without a care

I started ranting a bit... It looks like the first 2 offers were BS one guy offered me trade for an escort base model and the other didnt return my call. If I dont get at least 1500 I am keeping it
hell I might ebay it for pick up only with a reserve of 1500 and see what happens
