leave your meter on the wire and start pulling fuses till the voltage goes away, that should help narrow down what your looking for.

or just cut all that shit out and jump the relay with a screw driver when you want to start it, like a real redneck http://i910.photobucket.com/albums/ac305/07Burb/Funky/redneck.gif http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif

I might!!....

None of the fuses in the fuse box killed that power. I pulled them one at a time the other day... I pulled them and put back in and moved to the next.....

I did find a fuse under the hood that kiled the power there. It was one of those big weird lookngs tall boxy looking ones.

dumb question here. after getting you new gem, did it need to be programmed? my old 02 windstar needed programming when replacing any module.

i dont see a problem with bypassing everything, but the onboard computer might wig out. if it doesnt, then go or it

its not how fast you can go.......... its how fast can you get to fast

I was thinking this same thing that it had to be programmed specifically for that VIN.

really it should of had the info from the old gem pulled and programmed onto the new one, but if he got one with the same options, power winders, locks, shit like that, it should be fine. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/reading.gif

Yes, The programming part isn't a big hassle on the XL models... It don't have keyless entry, power windows/locks..No fancy lights.... The gem mod came out of basically same truck..

Probably get to this wednesday or thursday depending on weather.
