Well finally!!! I've been wanting to build a garage since i was shitting green. May 11th i'm going to pick up my first purchase for my dream building. I've been throwing around the idea for many years but never really set anything in stone. I was talking to my boss and asking him aobut buidlings and stuff, I told him i was going to start buying 2x4's, but the big money was going to be the metal. And he told me to come May 11th with my trailer and he will give me a bundle of metal!!! SCOREEEEEEE

I don't know a damn thing about building with wood lol. Its going to be 20x30 I do know that.

If you guys have any recommendations lemme know lol. I'm cheap as sin also.

Shame you ain't close. I can hook you up with lumber at cost. What you going to do about a foundation or flooring? I guess there is no building codes or permits? You got to watch your ass with something that big. Got to be done right.

just build a pole type building, metal roofing and siding. If I was you I would go with a pre made truss for strength and to save some time. You got alot of stuff to think about before you get started. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-chores017.gif

My small plans, are...

No concret for now.
Barn doors, No roll up crap.
Hoping to go 2 block high, I have a buddy who can hook me up with getting all that leveleded and what not.
No building code or permits needed.
Going to be a 20x30 ATLEAST... Depending on how much tin i get it might be larger.
Get my dad to help pay for as much as he can :D lol
Watch craigslist for any kind of anything i might need and can get a deal on.
