Pulled cam out, it was too small for what we want. So we jabbed a .640 lift Howards Cam, And new Isky tool room springs.And switched the intake to a bit higher rise and a single plane.(still waiting on the intake to get here)
I can't find the picture i had, But when we tore the engine apart, we found the distributor was completly phucked. The top bearing was looser than Emilys butt hole. And the rotor had just been banging the shit out of everything. Still ran decent but had a slight pop at idle. We thought it was a valve too tight. Pregnant lady friend changin the oirl????
But yeahh, So pumped!! Going to be a tough trip for my truck :/ about a 3.5 hour drive, hauling that heavy mofo (The truck, not the pregnant chick ;) ) So we changed all the fluids,Also through in a tool box. And fixed some wiring on the f150, so my inverter would work with the new battery. Got a spare for the Red chevy and my truck. Loaded the tool box with fluids and some power tools. Closer to friday will be loading up a generator,battery charger (No alt on the red chev) Fuel can,jacks,tools and all that jazz.
Also picked up a new ball, I noticed mine was getting pretty beat.I've had it for a few years so i'm going to just call it good and put it on the lawn mower or something lol.. You know me i beat my balls pretty hard ... I
Jeezus... We've made it home. Had a blast. Race didn't go well. Someone phucked us over at the race while we were watching the race. ANd poured beer in the fuel tank. I didn't take many pictures as we was messing with the truck and it was dark. I got some pictures of the carnage they done. "They" will be getting there asses handed to them come the 26th, We are going back and the chevy will hopefully whip every ass down there.
We spend all day tuning and working some other bugs out. And let me tell you, Its epic. I got some video of it running today. If the weather lets us, weare going to try to get some testing done.
It might be a couple days before i get back on the forum. My internet will be down half of the week.
