It's a pellet stove my sister gave me, it was all rusted up with water dripping on it and I sanded it up and gave it a new paint job, looks brand new. They don't burn real hot, you can put your hands right on top to warm them up, even the exhaust pipe you can touch it a little bit.

That's a neat idea for a stove that guy built, but I'd just go to tractor supply and get the barrel stove kit and throw some logs in it. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-chores017.gif

You did a great job cleaning that up and installing it. We throw drum fulls of sawdust out at work so that idea caught my attention. Maybe I'll just try to find a stove like you got. I want ot heat the garage but am sick of dealing with kerosene.

You might find a used one on CL for a reasonable price. Tractor supply had a sale the other day 10% off everything, could have got one for $900.
Was gonna put it in my basement but the wife didn't like the spot I had picked out so hell with her, she'll find out what cold is when the power goes out. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif

gonna rock the walls, only really got 2 up front by the garage door ain't much to do.
For the ceiling I'm gonna use 3/8 plywood spaced at 2 ft. centers with a little insulation blown in, was gonna rock it but I don't want all that weight on it cause all the rafters are on a ridge beam and only got cross ties every 4 ft.
I wish that had regular trusses but I don't know what else to do. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys%203/juggle.gif

That stove will probably burn a bag a day on the lower setting but since I'm only heating about 640 sq. ft. and the stove will heat 1700 sq. ft. I don't ever see myself burning more than a half a bag a day unless I get drunk and pass out in there. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif My wifes friend can get me pellets at cost, when I get a ton I'll let you know how much.

I ran it for a few hours the last couple days non-stop and haven't been through a half bag yet. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/reeling_smiley.gif
