Awhile back i got this 1993 Suzuki RM250 in on a trade... So i decided after being out of riding for 8 years.. I would get back into it ... Only had a couple hours of labor on a truck i traded for it.. So i had no cash in it.. Guy said it was just completly rebuilt by the previous owner .. The previous owner had raced it for few years.. and then it sit the rest.. The PO rebuilt it and sold it... The guy i got it from said it wouldnt start with the kick starter.. but it ran damn good when you pushed started it.. I figured it needed a piston and rings... and figured he lied about it being rebuilt..

Heres a few pics

Here is the pictures he sent me before we traded

The silencer was soaked in spooge .. so i tore it apart and repacked it and found it was broken.. tac weld and some tape got it fixed...

It was going to cost me around 400 to get my cylinder recoated... And i was going to have to ship it there and then back... So i just waited around till i found one

And i found an amazing deal on a complete top end off a 95.. I couldnt find anything where it would fit mine.. I eye balled it with pictures back and forth with the guy.. And finally told me he wanted 125 bucks for it.. And this cylinder has been redone ported and polished and the head has been planed... By Pro Action... So that was a HELLL of a deal..

I guess this is the only picture of the cylinder i still have

I got it all running.. Did two heat cycles on the stand... and then took it out for a soft ride... let it cool for a couple hours... And then took it out for about a 20 mins mild ride... and while we were letting it cool i figured we could throw the new tire and tube in the rear.. I didnt feel safe riding it for the next break in cycle because i was going to be getting after it a little harder

You will know why when you see the tire ohmy.gif... It looks WAY worse in person also lol

user posted image

Well i lost my tube and i never found it in my house.. So i had to order a new one... It shuld be here tomorow...

So i did another cycle with some harder revs on the stand to clear it out

Here is a video .. it sucks but http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/flipthebird.gif
