Came home popped the cover off and cleaned her up and slapped her back together with some fresh black permatex, now I don't have to worry about it.

It wasn't the pinion seal, it was the cover seal? Thanks for the work thread and pics. smile.gif

Did you put oil back into it? blink.gif

Yeah, that's a new exhaust. I'm putting the oil back in tomorrow after work.
I don't know knothing about no pinion seal, is that on the side. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/think.gif
It was just coming from out the bottom, just a little bit.

Pinion seal is where the drive shaft enters the axle housing, if that is dry you should be good. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/waytogo.gif

Yeah, all good there. My front one leaks but I'm not messing with that, it shouldn't matter unless I use the 4 wheel drive right?

I'd at least check the levels occasionally in the front until you get it fixed.

Yeah, but it wouldn't hurt to pop the front cover off and put fresh fluid in it IMO. Or at least check the oil level. Might as well check the transfer case level too.....
