This is a null topic, since it is a Johnson & Evinrude system, we have no need to discuss this here. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/waytogo.gif

Just one more thing to break, better off to just mix your stuff yourself. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/yes.gif

I been looking for info on my system.

They say at idle it runs 100:1 mix, and increases the mixture with rpm and throttle to a 50:1 mix at wide open throttle. blink.gif

They say the VRO systems are shit, and Mercury systems are pretty reliable, but like 97%.

The Merc systems use a plastic gear to turn the oil pump off the crankshaft. http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx163/bobkyle2/dumb/picard.png

That was on larger motors though, I am still searching for my sized engine.

>sigh<

I feel so alone..... http://i752.photobucket.com/albums/xx163/bobkyle2/dumb/picard.png

Do they really? What about the oil pump? It can't be blocked off or removed, it can't run out of oil or it will break and throw parts into the crankcase. I am afraid to bypass it. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/cry.gif

ya, no one runs them around here. on the rudes the fuel pump and the oil pump is one unit, and all you do to bypass it is plug the oil injection line, so the pump still pumps fuel it just doesn't inject oil. or when they stop working there replaced with regular fuel pumps. theres a couple electrical mods to do also but nothing major.

I have no idea about the merc setup though??
