The rubber "V" piece on my transom saver is shot. I need to replace it, it looks like a bow stop but the V part is not as wide as a bow stop, but I guess if I have to I can use it. Just wanted your thoughts and suggestions. Here is a pic of it. The inside measurement of that space is 2".

My motor lays to the right while towing anyway. Mine is cracked through to the mounting bolt so the lower unit is hitting the bolt. Not good, so I had to do something besides wrap it in duct tape. http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif
