This first tip if for you boat owners with 2 stroke outboards that have auto mix .

Be sure to check the gaskets and o rings in the tank caps... If they look old ..dry rotted... Or just not healthy looking... replace them ASAP.....

If you dont know how old they are... I would replace them.

I'm going to run it, but I am ordering parts this week, that seal, and a trim switch, and maybe a carb kit.

How many carbs you have?

Usually if its got more than one carb you have to order a kit for each carb.....

And I dont know about that engine.. but on mine you have to synchonise them.. with the timing.... Its called a link and sink... you might want to start reading up aobut it... I've never done it.. but it lookos like a total mess lol

3 carbs, the float seats are shot, so at low RPM she's running rich and while off it leaks fuel into the motor. The main jets are not adjustable. Just the idle jets. I don;t understand what you mean by that. If tjhe jets are all the same, what is there to synchronize? All the butterflys have those wheels that ride on a cam, they all have an adjustment, but if I don;t mess with those adjusters, there should be no reason to worry about it far as I can tell. All I got to do is pull the carbs off and put in new needle valves and bowl gaskets, and clean them. I am sure they never had been off the motor.

I'll look around and see about what you are saying. If you come across anything post it here dawg.

Ok, I am saying screw the carbs, run it. Now I am getting ready to order the new sensor for the oil tank and a new seal for the oil tank cap, just waiting for the asshole on ebay to give me a yes or no on the offer on the trim switch.

ITs good stuff....

Run the engine get it completly warm.... And then drain the fuel out of the carb bowls.... take the fuel line off and put it in the can of carb cleaner.. and use the primer ball to fill the carbs up with the seafoam ..... And let it set over night .... Next day mixup a few gallon of gas ... With a strong mix of sea foam.... And run the engine

After you ran the engine... for awhile.. replace the plugs....

With my old engine i ran sea foam more often... Because it would get sluggish every now and then. And the sea foam has always helped me.
