hit the local pond for opening day and spent the morning with the yahoos ohmy.gif I mostly just go for the humor and this year was no let down. watched this guy pull up with a canoe on his car roof unstrapped it and it rolled off the side and ripped his side view mirror off http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif another guy locked his keys in the car with all his shit like 20minutes before 8 http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif . then watching all the boats drift around and bump each other cause of the wind was good too. got my 6 fish by 9:30 and got the hell out of there http://i1220.photobucket.com/albums/dd448/NorthportTroller/Smileys/laugh.gif to windy to stay and fish any more.

Is that your boat right? That water is nice looking, like blue. Did you see any algae on the bottom? Other kinds of fish in there? You go there often?

You can post the fish pics Brownie. Stocked trout are stocked trout. If you like wild areas you can trek up to the Black River in northern Jersey. It was very kind to me as a kid. Lots of big browns.

ya that my boat, water in that lake is crystal clear, the deepest part is only 6-7' deep and thats only the one edge, the rest is about 3 or 4', and you can see bottom till about 4ft. not much of anything in that lake, there's no structure or cover at all, for anything to really grow. I I take the dog to run around back there alot, dont fish it a whole lot though, fish it for trout season and thats about it.
