I saw a post on another forum that cromby was shut down.I had to look into it Sure enough here's the link. There's still a lot full of cars down there,I think they're storing & distributing electric from ther, unless they're just mothballing the place..
I just saw the new schedule for the cabela's king kat series. They're going to be fishing the Big D out of Chester 8/18/2012.You gonna be a star? I never fished the tidal section of the Delaware,I'd probably fish it if I took somebody who knew that stretch. You could probably get up into the skuke from there & get some decent flatheads.I might do it Most of the decent ramps are on the jersey side, which means paying a toll & a launch fee. Where's a ramp in chester?
Finally got to fish with John last night.I had a blast thanks for the invite. The bite was alittle slow.We fished 5 spots & boated 3 fish.I caught 2 flatheads, one under 10 # & a 26#11oz NPT landed a 10 # channel & missed acouple of runs, including one that swam his bait back to the boat Thanks again buddy
Here's some pics of my 18 foot aluminum G3 tunnel hull with a yamaha 90/65 fuel injected 4 stroke jet. It's coming up on a year since I bought it.Its a great shallow water boat,I'm real happy with it.I added the trolling motor, fishfinder.long stem rod holders from ebay,& a gobee stanchion spotlight.I also added pvc vertical rod holders, that I made cheap for rod & net storage.
I just read a biologists pdf report on a trap net study at this 25 acre lake in green lane park, montco county. They caught acouple flatheads one was a healthy 38",that looked well over 20 pounds There's another flathead lake in PA I forget how to copy a pdf,so sorry I can't post the link.
